KindHarbor Terms of Use

KindHarbor is a parent-controlled educational AI assistant for children.

Parent account ownership: A parent or legal guardian owns the account, creates child profiles, manages subscriptions, reviews transcripts and safety events, and controls deletion of child profile data. Parents can also delete the entire parent account and all stored family data from the parent dashboard at any time.

Child use: Children may use only parent-created profiles. Child profiles use a nickname, age band, avatar color, and timestamps. Do not enter a child's full name, birthdate, school, phone number, address, email, photos, passwords, or location.

AI limits: KindHarbor uses AI-generated responses. AI can be wrong or incomplete. KindHarbor is not a human, friend, therapist, doctor, lawyer, emergency service, or replacement for a trusted adult.

Safety: KindHarbor may refuse unsafe requests, redirect to safer learning topics, log safety events for parent review, and encourage a child to contact a trusted adult or emergency services when immediate danger is possible.

Subscriptions: An active family subscription purchased through Apple in-app purchase is required for child chat. Message limits apply as described in the app. The parent dashboard, transcript review, export, and deletion remain available without an active subscription.

Parent responsibility: Parents are responsible for deciding whether KindHarbor is appropriate for their family, supervising child use, and reviewing transcripts and safety events.
