Program description. Composed Chaos sends text notifications to its own subscribers — business owners who use our answering service or developer APIs — notifications that our answering service took a new customer inquiry or message for them (full details are delivered by email), and service/account notices. Message frequency varies with your call volume. Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt in

We collect SMS consent in exactly two ways, and the phone number is always optional — consent is never a condition of purchase:

  1. On our signup forms — for example the API signup form: the mobile-number field is optional and consent is a separate, unchecked checkbox carrying the exact language shown below.
  2. During answering-service onboarding — we set up each account together with the business owner. The owner provides a notification number only if they want SMS alerts, the consent language below is presented to them verbatim, and their consent is recorded in their account settings as a separate opt-in that is off by default and can be revoked at any time. Opt-out and help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe (also honored: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL, END, and plain-language requests). Reply START to re-subscribe, HELP for help, or email [email protected]. You can also have SMS notifications switched off in your account settings at any time.

No lead generation. We are an answering service. We never send a consumer's contact details by SMS, and we never sell, share, or transfer consumer information to third parties.

Privacy. Your phone number is used solely to deliver the notifications described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Full policy: composedchaos.net/privacy.html.
